"There are always a few who take advantage of the misfortunes of others"
Flávio Furtado seems to have commented, albeit very discreetly, on the controversy involving José Castelo Branco.

Flávio Furtado, who up to now has chosen not to comment on the accusation of domestic violence against José Castelo Branco, seems to have made a first observation about the whole controversy in a new post on social media, this Wednesday, May 8.
In his Instagram stories, the commentator wrote a short text that began with the word "vipickle".
"...unfortunate is he who stumbles. He hasn't even fallen and they're already running him over. Unfortunately, that's life. And there are always a few who take advantage of other people's misfortunes to stand out, to climb a few more steps on the social ladder", wrote Flávio, without adding any more words.
It is worth remembering that Flávio Furtado and José Castelo Branco were great friends but fell out several years ago. In the meantime, they started communicating again and Flávio was even invited to be present at the christening of Constança, the socialite's granddaughter.
José Castelo Branco today learned the coercive measures in the case of alleged domestic violence against his wife, Betty Grafstein. The socialite was prevented from approaching and contacting the jewelry designer, but is now free.
