Goucha reveals what his greatest ambition is in television

Rui Maria Pêgo interviewed Manuel Luís Goucha for the podcast 'Debaixo da Língua', from Rádio Comercial, and asked the presenter what professional ambition he still seeks to fulfill, after a career of so many successes.
Goucha then replied that on television "he would very much like to cement the idea of talking - with time - with political figures".
"I would very much like to talk for an hour with the great protagonists of politics. That is, perhaps, my greatest ambition in professional terms, without being afraid to ask the questions that I understand I should ask. Of course, it is not something new, because I also interview politicians as part of what I do daily on the afternoon program", Goucha added.
The presenter also recalled that he is writing a book, which he intends to launch soon. "I have other ambitions that do not have to do with television and that have to do with a book that I am writing, of television stories that then intersect with stories of my life. I also [wanted] to explore the agricultural side of my company", he said.
Still about the book, Goucha explains that it is not just a memoir. "It is a book of remarkable television stories, from among thousands and thousands of stories that I have. There are personal facts of mine, from my life story that can then cross the television stories that I have experienced over the years", he concluded.
