"Hello, I'm Carla Rodrigues aka Blaya, I'm 36 years old, I'm an artist and, therefore, there are months when I'm richer than my parents and other months when I'm not richer than my parents". This is how Blaya started a rant, made on social media, and in which she debunked the idea that many people have that being an artist is synonymous with wealth.
The singer used the social network TikTok to, in some way, respond to the influencer Melanie Vicente, who became the center of a major controversy for saying that she was richer than her parents and that she spent her days in leisure activities, thus trying to prove that it is possible to have a different lifestyle than most people.
Blaya, almost as if responding to these statements, spoke about her own case, confessing in the meantime that she also goes through some financial difficulties in some of the months.
"What did I do this week? I cried in the corners of the house because the first day of the month was approaching and I have 350 thousand installments to pay. Since the life of an artist in this country is unstable, at the end of every month I get depressed because I don't know if I'll have money to pay the bills", stressed Blaya, who ended the video with a smile on her face.
@blaya_con_dios I understood Melanie! She just mixed leisure with professional work, and it ended up getting confusing. But I took the opportunity to describe my situation.

In another video, Blaya decided to respond to a netizen who told her that if she can't pay installments, then "it's better not to have them". "I confirm, you're right. Unfortunately, in October I had knee surgery that cost 11 thousand euros. In previous years we came from a pandemic and so it has been a bit complicated to organize the money. But it makes perfect sense what this person is saying and I agree", she said then.
