Tony Ramos underwent emergency brain surgery yesterday, May 16, after feeling unwell. The actor, 75, was hospitalized after some complaints and then underwent surgery to drain an intracranial hematoma.
According to G1, the operation was successful and the artist is stable. He is now recovering in hospital.
Tony Ramos is one of the most respected actors in Brazil. He has participated in numerous successful soap operas, such as 'Avenida Brasil', 'Laços de Família', 'Caminho das Índias' and 'Mulheres Apaixonadas'. More recently, he joined the cast of 'Terra e Paixão', whose recordings ended in January.
