Catarina Miranda: "That award will always be mine by right"
We talked to the evicted contestant from 'Big Brother'.

No matter what, nobody can take away the leading role in the 2024 edition of 'Big Brother'. Catarina Miranda was the subject of thousands of conversations in the country over the last few days, and when she seemed like the potential winner of the reality show, she broke a glass, the shards of which hit one of her colleagues. She ended up being expelled, by decision of the production.
To journalists, this morning, Catarina did not hesitate to say that the decision was "unfair" and recalled other cases in which contestants on TVI reality shows had aggressive and untimely attitudes, although they did not end up being expelled. "It was the only way to prevent me from receiving the prize, it was with a mistake of mine. That prize will always be mine by right, I gave my life to the program", she added, somewhat indignantly.
Still on the injustice she feels, Catarina admitted to journalists that, in her opinion, Daniela has been protected by the production. "She didn't even do half of what Daniela did", she said, recalling her former housemate's controversial opinion on homosexuality and prostitution.
As for João, with whom she argued before throwing the glass that led to her expulsion, Catarina guarantees that "there will be no more contact" between the two. "I hope that justice is done. That one day João will be forgotten and that I will get my place on national television", she stressed.
Catarina also 'pointed the finger' at Cláudio Ramos and recalled that she never spoke to any family member live, unlike what happened with other colleagues.
On social media, fans of the former participant are asking for her inclusion in the reality show 'O Dilema', which Manuel Luís Goucha will present this summer. Miranda knows about this desire of those who follow her but left a 'message' to TVI. "There is no money, there are no clowns [laughs].
