Dabney Coleman, Actor, Dies at 92
The actor died on Thursday, May 16, at his home in Santa Monica, California, his daughter, Quincy Coleman, told The Hollywood Reporter and TMZ.
"My father paved the way for himself in this world with a fierce intellect, a generous heart, and a wicked sense of humor that never failed to bring a smile to the face of all who knew him," his daughter said in a statement to People magazine.
"He lived a life of elegance, excellence, and achievement," she continued. "A teacher, a hero, and a king. Dabney Coleman was a gift and a blessing in life and in death, and his spirit will live on through his work, his love, and his legacy."
Dabney Coleman was known for his roles in films such as '9 to 5', 'Tootsie' and 'You've Got Mail'.
