CCTV footage shows Sean 'Diddy' Combs attacking ex-girlfriend
In the video, the rapper throws Cassie Ventura to the ground and kicks her.

CNN has obtained surveillance video showing Sean "Diddy" Combs allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, the singer he dated on and off for 11 years and who in 2023 accused him of rape.
The video, which you can see below, was recorded in March 2016, when the then-couple were staying at the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. It shows the rapper running toward Ventura, grabbing her by the hair and violently throwing her to the ground.
Ventura, who had been trying to get into an elevator, was left lying on the floor after the attack and was then kicked by the artist.
CNN has reached out to Sean "Diddy" Combs for comment, but the rapper has declined to respond.
The lawsuit Ventura filed against Combs alleges that the singer was intoxicated during the alleged assault. It also accuses him of paying the InterContinental Hotel $50,000 for the surveillance footage that has now been made public.
