Alice Alves underwent a nose surgery and was forced to leave the TVI antenna, where she has been replaced by Maria Botelho Moniz.
It was on social media that the presenter showed herself for the first time after the surgery, images in which she appears with bandages and still in the hospital.
"8/5/2024 - My first general anesthesia (and last, I hope). I ran away from this surgery for 25 years… Running away is never the solution, I ended up there anyway. It became inevitable. The doctors say that my recovery is going incredibly. Since I don't understand any of this, I believe them", the communicator wrote first.
"Thank you to all the excellent teams that accompanied and accompany me. And thank you for the thousands of messages full of affection. Now I'm going to inhale and exhale from Earth to the Moon", she noted later, making it clear that the surgery sought to solve a respiratory problem.
Finally, the presenter joked about the fact that she tries not to be hit by her baby daughter while recovering from the surgery: "I continue on the mission of dodging Benny's bump on my nose at all times".
