Susana Vieira talks about leukemia: "It's incurable, but I'm at peace"
The well-known Brazilian actress, 81 years old, also revealed that she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.

Diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a disease she has been battling since 2016, Susana Vieira revealed that she is at "peace" with her condition.
This Sunday, May 19, the well-known Brazilian actress, 81, gave an interview to the program 'Fantástico' about the launch of her new book - 'A Senhora do Meu Destino'.
"I have chronic lymphocytic leukemia, which is a disease. There is no cure and there is no point in having a bone marrow transplant", she said.
In addition, the artist also noted that her battle is not just about leukemia: "And I have another blood disease, which is autoimmune hemolytic anemia. It is obvious that as you get older, you get worried, but this disease seems like God… left me in peace. But I am in remission, so I hope that's it", she said.
The artist was optimistic about the future, leaving the following message: "I wish for many things, but I continue to be connected to love, to sex. What I mean is that if you continue to desire something, you continue to be alive and beautiful. Desire a bread with butter, desire a better job, desire a man, desire a woman. My verb is not to dream, it is to desire".
