Danish royals go for a run for a good cause. The photos
King Frederik joined Queen Mary and their four children to participate in the Royal Run.

Running is one of the hobbies of King Frederick of Denmark, a taste that he has managed to pass on to his entire family. Every year the monarch participates in the Royal Run, a charity race that in 2024 took place in five different cities: Aarhus, Kalundborg, Brønderslev, Fredericia and Copenhagen.
The monarch started this intense day at 10:20 am (local time) in the town of Fredericia, where he inaugurated the competition and ran just over a kilometre. The day did not end there, as he later travelled to Aarhus, where he ran another five kilometres, and at 7 pm, he finished the Copenhagen race, with a ten-kilometre course.
Queen Mary ran five kilometres in Kalundborg and Crown Prince Christian participated in the race in Brønderslev.
The three youngest children of the kings - Princess Isabella and the twins Vicent and Josephine - were also present at the race, having run in Copenhagen.
