"May the words of Nicolau remembered today be sap and yeast"

After having participated in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Nicolau Breyner Academy, celebrated this Thursday, May 23, Manuel Luís Goucha spoke about this meeting and remembered the actor.
"This morning, the 10th anniversary of the Nicolau Breyner Academy was celebrated, a dream that he saw come true two years before he passed. I joined the director Jorge Paixão da Costa and the actors Diogo Morgado, Luís Mascarenhas and José Raposo to remember the man, the actor, the producer, the director… so much that he was and lived intensely", he began by writing in the post he made on his Instagram page.
"We remembered a lot of his thinking before an audience essentially of students, possible future actors. Talent will be essential, which being a gift given by God (Nicolau was a man of faith) must be honoured with truth, nerve and work. If fame remains, may it be a gift and not a goal", he added.
"May the words of Nicolau remembered today be sap and yeast for those who come to serve Art. And may Art continue its mission to entertain, excite, summon, disturb… This morning, Nicolau's heart beat strongly in each one of us", he concluded.
