Paulo Bento mourns the death of his mother

The Portuguese Football Federation announced this Sunday, May 26th, the death of the mother of former National Coach Paulo Bento. Maria Helena Gomes was 87 years old.
Fernando Gomes, president of the FPF, presented his condolences to the current Coach of the United Arab Emirates.
"It was with great sadness that I learned of the death of Maria Helena Gomes, mother of former National Coach Paulo Bento. Knowing the strong ties that united mother and son, I leave, in my name and on behalf of the entire FPF, at this time of pain and sadness, the word of possible comfort and the most heartfelt condolences to Paulo and his entire family", can be read in a statement.
