The life of Michael Schumacher and his family took a 180º turn on December 29, 2013. The former Formula 1 driver suffered a serious accident while skiing in the French Alps and all that is known about his health is that it is delicate and that he requires a lot of medical care.

It is precisely to keep Schumacher under all the necessary care that his wife, Corinna Schumacher, decided to sell part of the family's assets, which includes some luxury goods such as a private jet, sold for 31 million euros. Earlier this month, as we told you here, eight watches were auctioned, which resulted in 4.4 million euros. According to The Sun, Corinna Schumacher also sold a mansion in Norway for 58 million euros. The tabloid says that keeping the former driver alive costs around seven million euros and that the medical equipment purchased for the treatments was worth 70 million. As far as we know, Michael Schumacher, now 55 years old, is at the family's home in Mallorca, a property that once belonged to Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, and which cost 30 million euros.
