Arnold Schwarzenegger pays tribute to 'friend and mentor'
Producer Albert S. Ruddy dies at 94

Arnold Schwarzenegger took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to Albert S. Ruddy, who died last Saturday, May 25, at 94.
"[...] I met him over 40 years ago when he was already an icon and I was just starting out in the movie business," Schwarzenegger recalled. "He became a dear friend and a mentor. He was always there to give me advice and guide me in the right direction," he added.
Arnold Schwarzenegger also said that "his life would not be what it is without great people like him", Albert S. Ruddy, who "was there every step of the way". In addition, he also highlighted the producer's love for family.
In the text that captioned some photographs of both, the actor also recalled his friend's "sense of humor". "You should have seen the toast he gave at my wedding - people couldn't breathe they were laughing so hard," he said.
"Whenever you watch 'The Godfather', 'Million Dollar Baby' or any of his many other projects, take a minute to remember Al Ruddy. I know I never will. I will miss him greatly, but Al will always be with me. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to know such a great man with such a great heart. My thoughts are with his family," he added.
