Vanessa Martins recalls marriage ending after attempts to get pregnant

Vanessa Martins recalled the several attempts to get pregnant while she was married to Marco Costa, from whom she separated in 2020.
The influencer, who was diagnosed with endometriosis, explained that "there was a lot of pressure from the other side", regarding pregnancy. "We had to make it happen. It was all very fast, it wasn't very thought out. It's also my fault for not prioritizing myself. Things weren't done the way they should have been, honestly", she said in the podcast 'Mãe é Mãe' with Rita de Coelho Vieira.
Still about the marriage ended with the pastry chef and the attempts to get pregnant, Vanessa Martins confessed that she reached a point where she wanted to stop doing the constant treatments and got divorced.
"It's over. It was seven years of attempts and, when I realized, I was already in automatic 'loop', I didn't want to be like that. I didn't recognize myself anymore, the relationship was completely worn out. I was doing everything wrong", she recalled.
“I said 'I don't want this, I don't need this, I need to be healthy, to be well, feel good about myself and I'm doing a lot of things to my body that I don't even know what will become of me in the future for doing this'. [...] When I prioritized myself, when I knew that everything was wrong around me, it's almost like a punch on the table saying 'I don't care, I'm going to start all over again'", she also shared.
Still during the conversation Rita de Coelho Vieira, added: "I realized that it wasn't possible, that without children it wasn't the other person's path... It was good for everyone, we are all happy".
