Lifestyle Onde ir

Another weekend has arrived and, as always, there are no reasons for empty schedules. To help you decide how to spend the next few days, Lifestyle ao Minuto has gathered two handfuls of suggestions. Among the options are initiatives that celebrate World Physical Activity Day, as well as others where you can learn how to do new things and even a fair with more than two tons of vintage clothing.

1- World Physical Activity Day in Cascais, Oeiras and Lisbon

Next Saturday, April 6, in the morning and early afternoon, Avenida Marginal, a road that crosses Cascais, Oeiras and Lisbon, will be closed to traffic, allowing pedestrians, cyclists and users of scooters, skateboards or similar to walk freely.

This is an initiative that celebrates World Physical Activity Day and is the result of a partnership between the three city councils. In addition to the temporary closure of the road, multiple activities will take place, including traditional games and demonstrations of sports.

Address: Avenida Marginal
Price: free admission
Hours: between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm

2- Solidarity Walk for Mental Health

As the name of the initiative suggests, this walk, scheduled for Sunday, April 7, aims to raise awareness about mental health and all the associated stigma. A route is planned that starts and ends at Passeio do Tejo, next to Torre Vasco da Gama and Hotel Myriad by Sana, in Parque das Nações, in Lisbon.

Address: Parque das Nações, Lisbon
Price: €15
