Yes, you read that right. Aside from the more well-known ones, such as chest pain and shortness of breath, cardiovascular disease can manifest with other less common symptoms affecting body parts such as the ears, legs, and nails.
Even so, Dustin Portela, a dermatologist, quoted in the Mirror, explained the signs to look for on the skin of these areas of the body that may indicate heart disease.

According to the specialist, leg swelling, especially bilateral edema, is, in many cases, "a sign of heart failure".
As for the nails, look for "a downward curve of the nail" and, at the same time, swelling at the fingertip. This can "be a sign of heart disease, heart infection, or lung disease".
Finally, in the ears, he recommends that you watch out for "a diagonal crease in the earlobes". It is possible that it is an indicator of heart disease, but he emphasizes that "some studies have shown that it is probably not so highly correlated and more related to age".
