This healthy milk cake is perfect for a guilt-free snack

"Tres leches cake is one of the most well-known desserts in Venezuelan cuisine and is a kind of fluffy sponge cake, which is soaked in three types of milk", explains nutritionist Ana Goios, in a publication made on the social network Instagram, where she shared the recipe.

Ingredients:
For the cake
60 g of oatmeal flour
100 g of 0% fat fresh cheese or light Greek yogurt
1 egg
1 teaspoon of yeast
For the syrup
40 ml of skimmed milk
10 g of milk powder (can be substituted with a little sweetener)
For the topping
40 g of 0% fat fresh cheese or light Greek yogurt
15 g of whey protein or vanilla-flavored protein yogurt
Cinnamon to taste (optional)
Preparation method:
1- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the cake.
2- Place the preparation in a container suitable for the microwave and heat for two minutes.
3- Then, let it cool down a little.
4- In the meantime, mix the milk with the milk powder.
5- Prick the cake with a toothpick and cover it with the syrup. Let it rest and, then, just unmold it.
6- In a separate bowl, mix the topping ingredients.
7- Cover the cake and, if you wish, sprinkle it with cinnamon.
