Get Rid of the Garlic Smell That Won't Leave Your Hands with This Trick

Almost everyone enjoys using garlic in their recipes. Do you? Unfortunately, despite its amazing flavor, garlic leaves a strong smell on your hands that is very difficult to get rid of. To help you solve this problem, cookbook author Vandana Sheth and Michelle Doll Olson from meal-kit company HelloFresh, as quoted on Martha Stewart's website, recommended very simple tricks.
The key ingredient? Lemon because its acidity "neutralizes the odor of garlic on your hands." To try it, the author suggests that you rub lemon juice on your hands, then wash them with soap and water.
Michelle Doll Olson found that simply "running a whole lemon under warm water or rubbing a piece of lemon peel on your hands gets rid of the smell."
