What to do to prevent clothes from getting static electricity
Just make some simple changes in the routine when dealing with clothes. Take note!

Do you get frustrated when your clothes are full of static? You're not alone. But thankfully, there are simple things you can do to prevent it from happening. Just make a few easy changes to your laundry routine, and follow these tips from Better Homes and Gardens.
For example, you should always "add fabric softener to the rinse cycle to help soften fabrics." If you'd rather not use chemicals, "try using white vinegar diluted with a natural essential oil," the magazine's experts advise.

Ideally, you should "air-dry your clothes whenever possible." When you do have to use the dryer, toss in dryer balls, which help separate clothes, improve air circulation, cut down on drying time, and reduce static cling.
In addition, they advise that you "separate natural fabrics from synthetics before drying" and that you "shake clothes as soon as they come out of the dryer." "Give each item a quick two to three shakes before placing it in a pile or next to other clothes in a closet or dresser drawer."
