There are foods that are not as healthy as you think. In the case of beverages, for example, there are four options that cause inflammation and even make you gain weight.
The 'website' SheFinds spoke with dieticians Kimberly Booker and Lisa Andrews, and also with 'health coach' Joanna Wen, to find out the beverages that may be leading to these problems. Get to know them.

1- Fruit juices
"Purchased fruit juices usually have added sugars and lack fiber. Consuming fruit juice without fiber can lead to a rapid increase in blood sugar levels and lead to inflammation," says Kimberly Booker.
2- Smoothies
The most concerning ones are "those made with high-calorie ingredients, such as fruit juices, sweeteners, and excessive amounts of nut butter or yogurt," explains Joanna Wen.
3- Protein drinks
"They can be high in calories or sugar depending on the brand. Check the labels and consider other alternatives," says Lisa Andrews.
4- Diet drinks
"They contain artificial sweeteners and are also associated with obesity," continues Lisa Andrews.
