Anxiety skyrockets just thinking about work and your mind is overwhelmed by the fear of failing. "The truth is that Portugal is the country with the highest risk of burnout in the European Union and one of the countries where people work the most and earn the least. In addition, we can't ignore the fact that workplace conditions are not always the best", says psychologist Pedro Coutinho, in a post on the social network Instagram. Therefore, he believes that "it is natural that work is a major cause of anxiety".

With this in mind, he warns of warning signs that you should never ignore:

1- Anxiety on Sunday night is very common. You have difficulty falling asleep, insomnia, panic attacks or anxiety;

2- Anxiety can arise and gradually increase as you approach returning to work after a few days of rest;

3- Thinking about work makes you anxious and sad;

4- You feel constantly pressured at work;

5- You get exhausted quickly;

6- You have difficulty concentrating, even during the simplest tasks;

7- Talking to your boss is a source of anxiety.
