The weekend is (finally) here and, despite the weather forecast not being the best, there is no shortage of things to do. Need some ideas? You can (and should) jot down the suggestions that Lifestyle ao Minuto has gathered. Among the options are gastronomic events, some more cultural and others that celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution.
1- Six-Hands Dinner
During the weekend, April 27 and 28, at Octant Douro, in Castelo de Paiva, you have the opportunity to taste a menu with very special proposals from three chefs: Dárceio Henriques, Cíntia and Joachim Koerper. The turbot with 'bouillabaise' broth and chouriço is featured as the main course. Everything happens in the hotel's restaurant, Raiva, and places are limited.

2- Resende Cavacas Festival
In Resende, over the weekend, a typical and very popular sweet from the region is highlighted: the cavacas. Of course, besides being able to eat a lot of traditional sweets, you have the opportunity to participate in a walk and watch popular music concerts.

3- Immersive Concerts at the Igreja dos Clérigos
The immersive concerts of the Igreja dos Clérigos, in Porto, are finally back, and the next ones will take place on Sunday. These are shows that combine the projection of 360º 'videomapping' inside the monument with the live interpretation of different melodies.

4- Dance Workshops
To anticipate the celebrations of World Dance Day, on April 29, Monday, one day before, that is, on Sunday, the Centro Comercial Continente de Portimão has prepared a special program with workshops and shows.

5- Alvarinho and Fumeiro Festival
Between Friday and Sunday, in Melgaço, the 30th edition of this event dedicated to two specialties of the region takes place: wine and fumeiro. 29 Alvarinho producers from the Monção and Melgaço sub-region are present, as well as 16 local producers and four restaurants. Some commented tastings, 'showcookings' and shows are also planned.

6- (Im)Probable Fusion
On the Cascais side, at the Mercado da Vila, this Friday, April 26, a creative and immersive craft market takes place.

7- A Song on Every Corner
To continue the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, the Casa da Arquitetura, in Matosinhos, hosts a special event on Friday night. This is a concert by the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra with Salvador Sobral.
