You may not realize it, but you could be walking around with an inflamed gut. There are a few signs that could give it away. Well+Good spoke to a gastroenterologist to get the lowdown on this issue.
Kenneth Brown says there are six signs to look out for—some of which can be subtle. Here’s what to know.
1. Digestive issues
"When the normal environment of the gastrointestinal tract is disrupted by an overgrowth of bacteria, it can wreak havoc on your digestive health."
2. Skin rashes
"It can influence the development and progression of skin conditions."
