A hug is always welcome, but if it comes with a gift, it tastes even better. Therefore, for mothers who appreciate a good glass of wine with their meal or those who like to drink it calmly on the sofa, there is a proposal that never fails: the wine 'Mãe Querida', from Herdade do Rocim.
This is a white wine, limited edition. Born from a partnership with the restaurant Dom Joaquim, in Évora, it quickly spread throughout the world. "'Mãe Querida' is an elegant and harmonious wine that we want to share with all mothers, especially after a long and challenging day, which, in this world of motherhood, we know is often frequent", says Catarina Vieira, oenologist and administrator of Herdade do Rocim, in a statement.

This white wine, with a greenish-yellow color and a citrus and mineral aroma, with hints of wood, is fresh and textured in the mouth. It results from a manual harvesting process, with a peculiar cold maceration period, having fermented and aged part (80%) in a cement vat and the remaining 20% in used barrels. After bottling, the wine aged in the bottle for a period of three months.
