Do you already know what to do on Mother's Day? José Maria da Fonseca has some suggestions

To celebrate Mother's Day, on May 5th, José Maria da Fonseca has prepared two exclusive programs that promise to trigger memorable experiences between mothers and children. At the José Maria da Fonseca House Museum, in Azeitão, the wine painting workshop will give wings to the creativity of the participants, while at the José de Sousa Winery, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, the wine brunch with regional products will delight everyone.

At the José Maria da Fonseca House Museum, visitors have the opportunity to participate in a unique wine painting workshop, on May 4th. Guided by the experience of the artisan Teresa Barreto, for one hour, the participants will have creative freedom to create a decorative or functional object, using the three shades of wine (red, rosé and white). At the end of the workshop, there will be a tasting of Moscatel de Setúbal for adults and juice for children. Participants will be entitled to a 10% discount on wines purchased on the day of the activity at the House Museum's wine shop.
In the picturesque José de Sousa Winery, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, visitors are guided by a guided tour, while exploring the wine traditions that go back generations. This visit includes an immersion in two distinct wineries for wine production: the historic Adega dos Potes and the modern Adega Moderna. After the visit, visitors will enjoy a wine brunch, full of local delicacies such as cheeses, sausages, empanadas, waffles, biscuits, jams and fruits, harmonized with sparkling wines and selected wines. As a special souvenir, it will be offered at the end of the visit.
