In recent years, diabetes has become one of the most common diseases and affects millions of individuals worldwide. It causes multiple symptoms including fatigue and tiredness. But, of course, in addition to the best known, there are others that affect different parts of the body. Did you know?

Three symptoms of diabetes that not everyone knows about:
- Blurred vision. "When blood sugar levels are high, it can affect fluid levels in the eyes, which can cause blurred vision, difficulty focusing on objects, or swelling in the eye area," Mandeep Bajaj, a doctor, quoted in the Mirror;
- Fungal infections. Generally, chronic vaginal yeast infection can manifest as "a symptom of untreated diabetes and this is due to the fact that the extra sugar in the blood encourages its growth," says Mark Guido, another doctor;
- Sexual dysfunction. He also explains that "erectile dysfunction has been identified as an indicator of diabetes due to high blood sugar levels" because they are capable of "disrupting the nerves and blood vessels that carry blood to the penis".
