Cleaning your home with different natural ingredients (that you have in your kitchen) helps you save some money. In addition, they are effective at eliminating unpleasant smells, especially in the rooms of the house where they are most common, such as the bathroom. You didn't know? Nancy Emery, a cleaning expert, quoted in Woman & Home, explains everything.
For example, "one of the best ingredients to use when cleaning bathrooms is lemon juice, as it helps to dissolve limescale and soap scum". In addition, it leaves "your bathroom smelling zingy fresh", she adds.

She also recommends that you use baking soda to deal with the toilet because it helps neutralize odors. "You can fill a jar with baking soda and leave it open in your bathroom as a homemade diffuser" and, thus, "it absorbs all the unpleasant smells, leaving your bathroom smelling fresh". You should "replace the baking soda once a week".
