In a cone or a cup? Santini's new ice cream combines two iconic flavours
The brand is celebrating its 75th anniversary with several new products. The latest is an ice cream that combines two well-known flavors.

It is still more than a month until summer, but the truth is that you don't have to wait until then to eat an ice cream. If you want to try a new flavour, you have to visit one of Santini's stores. The well-known brand is celebrating 75 years and is presenting a new flavour that combines two classics.
In a single scoop, in a cone or in a cup, you will be able to taste marabunta, created in 1960 and which combines cream ice cream and chocolate chips, and also strawberry. This new flavour came about from a challenge launched by the brand on social media in which it asked what flavour would be perfect to celebrate this anniversary.

Of the more than 500 suggestions made, 10 flavours were chosen and six then went through to a final tasting. A short list with three flavours ended up being put to the vote and that is how the strawberry marabunta came about.

"Quality and innovation are always present in our products and are part of our day-to-day. Creating new flavours stimulates the interest and curiosity of the public", reveals Eduardo Santini in a press release.
The new flavour will be available in the various Santini stores from this Friday, 10th May.
