To lose weight, what is the perfect time of day to train?
There are several advantages to exercising in the morning, afternoon or evening. It all depends on your goal.

Is there a best time to work out if you're trying to lose weight? EatingWell talked to two personal trainers to find out the best time of day to exercise.
Mike Masi says that the morning is best because there are fewer excuses. "Morning workouts make it easier to stick to a routine. If you wait until later in the day, other obligations may get in the way, or you may simply feel too tired to exercise."

However, he says that it's not a guaranteed solution and that maintaining a healthy diet and consistent workout routine is always ideal. In the morning, you'll also get a boost in energy levels and mood, especially if you take advantage of natural light instead of hitting the gym.
Working out later in the day, either in the afternoon or evening, has other benefits, such as improved physical performance and increased muscle strength. "You may experience greater gains in muscular strength and power compared to morning exercisers," says TJ Mentus.
Ultimately, any time of day can be beneficial as long as you can stick to it consistently.
