Samsonite new collection is made with recycled suitcases
The brand created a suitcase made with 35% of recycled suitcases. In total, it gathers 80% of recycled material.

Old suitcases can also be used for new trips. Samsonite has created a limited edition of Essens that is made with 35% recycled suitcases. This new version joins 80% recycled material.
2,500 suitcases were dismantled and reused, giving rise to a thousand new Essens suitcases. It is available in two versions, a 55-centimeter cabin suitcase (€245) and a 75-centimeter large suitcase (€285).
You can buy one of these new versions on the brand's 'website'. "It is made with recycled polypropylene and has the lowest carbon footprint of all Samsonite suitcases," reveals the brand in a statement.
