The snail is 'king' at this festival in Cuba, Alentejo
It takes place over three days in the Alentejo town. It brings together several taverns and musical guests.

If you're crazy about snails, there's a festival in Cuba do Alentejo that you can't miss. From May 24 to 26, the town will host the sixth edition of the Snail Festival. The event will take place at Largo da Bica.
On a platter, in a small dish or on plates, there are several ways to try this seasonal delicacy. Will you dare to try creative recipes? The best thing to do is to go there and visit the various stalls that also offer other types of dishes.
In addition to the traditional food and drinks, the Snail Festival will feature several musical performances. These include tributes to Queen and Ivete Sangalo, as well as DJs.
There is a children's area for the little ones, with face painting, games and balloons.
