McVeggie is back at McDonald's (and with a new recipe!)
New is accompanied by the new Veggie Burger on the Happy Meal menu.

The McVeggie has returned to McDonald's restaurants in Portugal, now with a new recipe. The brand is also introducing the new Veggie Burger to the Happy Meal menu.
The new sandwiches are intended for all vegetarian consumers (ovo-lacto vegetarians) and thus expand the variety of alternative protein options on the McDonald's menu, which now permanently includes the new McVeggie and Veggie Burger, as well as the McPlant.

The new McVeggie is back, now with a new recipe, which includes a breaded burger made with a variety of vegetables. The recipe is complemented by a slice of cheddar cheese, fresh sliced tomato, lettuce, fresh onion and a special mayonnaise sauce.
In addition to the launch of the McVeggie, the brand is also introducing a new item to the Happy Meal menu, the new Veggie Burger, which consists of a vegetarian burger, accompanied by cheddar cheese and ketchup.
The new McVeggie and Veggie Burger, intended for vegetarian consumers (ovo-lacto vegetarians), thus join the McPlant sandwich, dedicated to flexitarian consumers. The three alternative protein options from McDonald's - McVeggie, Veggie Burger and McPlant - are now available at the brand's 200 restaurants in Portugal, permanently.
