When hunger strikes, it's always best to opt for a healthy snack. There are several options that can be compromising your gut health. On the other hand, there are snacks that reinforce it.

Dietitian Lauren Manaker revealed to the website Eat This Not That some of the snacks that can be beneficial to your gut health. Yogurt with berries is one of them.

"Yogurt is a gut-friendly snack because of its rich probiotic content, which introduces beneficial bacteria into the digestive system," explains the dietitian. Berries only bring more advantages.

Hummus with carrot is another proposal. "Chickpeas are rich in dietary fiber, which helps digestive health, promotes intestinal regularity and microbiota."
