Dry mouth? It may be a sign of something more serious
Dentist Reveals the Conditions That Can Cause This Uncomfortable Symptom

There are multiple reasons for suffering from dry mouth. It can be a symptom of snoring, smoking, taking certain medications or drinking too much alcohol. Azad Eyrumlu, a dentist, quoted in the Mirror, warns that "a dry mouth could be a sign that something else is wrong".
In addition to dry mouth, there are other symptoms that affect this part of the body "such as a sticky feeling in the mouth, a dry or sore throat, difficulty chewing or swallowing or even bad breath".
So, more specifically, "certain health problems, such as a stroke, diabetes or Alzheimer's disease, can manifest themselves in this way", there is also the possibility that these symptoms are related to an autoimmune disease, such as HIV or the little-known Sjogren's syndrome.
