With use and washing, towels can lose some of their color and become rougher. Instead of throwing them away, you can use them around the house in a variety of ways. The website Tom's Guide has a few suggestions.
One suggestion is to use them as cleaning and dusting rags. If you have pets, they can also come in handy. They can be used to make a bed, for example.
On the other hand, if you are painting your house, you can use these towels to cover the floor, for example. When you want to see something in the car, towels are also useful to prevent oil from falling on the floor.
If you have a bathtub, these towels can serve as head support while you relax.
