Flaxseed is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and vitamin B1, essential for the heart. In addition, it is also indicated for those who are in the process of losing weight, since the fibers help accelerate intestinal transit, increasing the elimination of excess and decreasing the absorption of fats.
According to the same 'website', experts recommend consuming 40 to 50 grams of nuts and seeds per day. A tablespoon has about 10 grams. Then, you can add flaxseeds to yogurt or seasonal fruits, salads, soups, broths, smoothies, juices and desserts.
