Even without following a strict diet, it is possible to adopt small habits in your daily life that make a big difference in the weight loss process. All this without going 'broke'.

To the Saúde em Dia portal, nutritionist Matheus Motta explained what needs to be done to lose weight without spending a lot of money - yes, it is possible.

Now see:

1- Opt for seasonal fruits, vegetables and greens;

2- Diversify your protein sources. "Beans, lentils, chickpeas and peas are good sources of protein and fiber that can be served as a side dish, in salads or in spreads such as hummus," says the nutritionist. Chicken and eggs are other alternatives;

3- Plan your meals;

4- Make a list of food swaps;

5- Drink plenty of water a day.
