In a risky pregnancy, the pregnant woman should be aware of these signs and contact a healthcare professional as soon as possible:
- Vaginal bleeding;
- Vaginal discharge;
- Little fetal activity/movement (less than usual);
- Changes in vision;
- Vomiting and nausea after the first trimester;
- Pain or discomfort when urinating;
- Sudden swelling of the face, hands or fingers;
- Severe headaches;
- Pain or cramps in the abdomen or pelvic area;
- Weakness;
- Extreme fatigue;
- Persistent sadness;
- Negative thoughts.
