Lisboetas: Chiado receives a 12 kg pastel de nata and 11.5 thousand Lego pieces
The brand's second certified store in Lisbon opened this weekend.

After the openings in the Colombo shopping center in Lisbon and in the NorteShopping, it is now the turn of the Armazéns do Chiado, in the Portuguese capital, to receive the famous bricks of the Danish brand Lego.
The Chiado store has a Build a Minifigure tower, where fans can create mini figures with the available elements (hair/hats, heads, torsos, legs and accessories), a Pick a Brick Wall, where there are loose pieces available for purchase, and many other leisure areas where children and adults can have fun building with Lego bricks.

But the big star of the store is the 12-kilo Pastel de Nata, built with 11.5 thousand Lego pieces, to celebrate the opening in the capital. The piece took a month to be created by Romão Santos, a Portuguese Lego model maker.

But the surprises don't end there. Visitors can also admire a panel inspired by the famous Portuguese pavement, with more than 40 thousand bricks, built by Lego certified professional Riccardo Zangelmi.

The store is the result of a partnership with Percassi, an Italian company specialized in the development and management of franchising networks, signed in 2016, for the opening of certified stores in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, exclusively dedicated to Lego products.
With more than 1000 stores worldwide, the Lego group now arrives in Chiado with events and various products, to which will be added new and exciting launches throughout the year.
