Never tried avocado ice cream? Here's the recipe
It is a very simple (and delicious) dessert.

Hot days call for refreshing and delicious ice cream. Agree? You have to start rolling up your sleeves and making your own creations. Need ideas? Follow Martha Stewart's directions and make an avocado one.

Ingredients:
2 medium avocados, halved, pitted, and peeled
1 can coconut milk
½ teaspoon grated lemon zest, plus 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¾ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
Preparation:
1- Mash the avocados. Then, in a blender, combine the avocados, coconut milk, lemon zest and juice, sugar, salt, and 1/4 cup water. Blend. Refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.
2- Freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions. Transfer to a loaf pan and freeze, wrapped in plastic, for up to 1 week. Let soften at room temperature for 20 minutes before serving.
