Porto. From music to pottery, there are new experiences to be had at Saboaria
On Fridays and Saturdays, the Saboaria transforms into a cultural oasis.

From guitar, harmonica and saxophone to beatbox, world music and music from several resident DJs, the sky's the limit when it comes to the musical diversity of the artists invited to Saboaria Soundscapes, which take place every Friday and Saturday in the interior garden of the Saboaria hotel, in Porto.
Produced by Max Oliveira, director of MXM ArtCenter, these musical sessions once again confirm the desire of Saboaria Boutique Hotel Porto to open its doors to the city, becoming a haven of well-being and tranquillity, not only for guests, but also for all locals or travellers passing through the Invicta. Ideal "to relax and have a drink after work, or even before dinner in downtown Porto", says Diogo Bartilotti Matos, General Manager of the hotel, Saboaria Soundscapes "will include several musical performances, from Bossa Nova to DJ duos, beatbox with singers, saxophone with DJ, performances with dancers, among other records", he continues.

Since April, these sessions have been taking place every Friday and Saturday between 6 pm and 8 pm, and from July onwards they will also start taking place on Thursdays, so that everyone can make the most of the warm summer days.
Every Wednesday from the beginning of June, Saboaria Boutique Hotel Porto is also launching a different invitation not only to guests, but to the entire community: to explore the ancient art of pottery in a relaxing environment in the heart of Porto. After the launch of the soap workshops, already available every Tuesday at the hotel, this new experience seeks to challenge not only those who would like to take their first steps in interacting with clay and the potter's wheel, but also the more curious, who never miss an opportunity to get their hands dirty and test their creativity.

For two hours, Micael Bacelar Pereira, designer and co-founder of Bacelar-Pereira Design House, will be responsible for the multisensory experience that will occupy the Saboaria garden. A moment of disconnection totally in line with the philosophy of this five-star boutique hotel which, since its opening at the end of 2022, has sought to promote respect and preservation of local and cultural heritage.
The workshops, which will take place every Wednesday at 10 am, cost 90 euros per person. Participation must be booked in advance, via the contacts hello@saboariaporto.com or +351 910 564 123.
