This is not the first time we have talked about them, but now we are going to reveal the four thermogenic foods that cannot be missing in your home, according to nutritionist Marcella Oliveira, from the São Marcelino Champagnat Hospital, in Brazil. In practice, what happens is that they not only increase body temperature but also force the body to expend more energy. In other words, you end up losing weight.
In an interview with Sport Life, the nutritionist leaves the message: "It is important to remember that thermogenic foods are not a magic solution for weight loss". Even so, "they can be useful if combined with a balanced diet and regular physical activity". "The key to weight loss is to maintain a balanced diet, exercise regularly and consult a nutritionist for a personalized plan. The inclusion of thermogenic foods in the diet should be done in moderation", she also reinforces.
With this in mind, here are four natural thermogenics that can facilitate the weight loss process:

1- Cayenne pepper
Contains capsaicin, the substance that produces the burning sensation in the mouth and that has thermogenic properties. "It increases body temperature, speeds up metabolism and helps burn more calories. In addition, capsaicin can reduce appetite, which helps control food intake", corroborates Marcella Oliveira.
2- Green tea
The catechins present in its composition help speed up metabolism and burn fat. "Drinking green tea regularly can help boost metabolism and burn more calories. In addition, green tea is a great source of antioxidants, which can promote overall health", says the nutritionist.

3- Ginger
This food is "known for its thermogenic properties, which can help speed up metabolism and increase calorie burn". "It also has anti-inflammatory properties and can improve digestion, which is beneficial for the weight loss process."
4- Coffee
"Caffeine is a stimulant that can increase metabolic rate and energy. This can help burn extra calories, especially if consumed before exercise", explains the nutritionist, emphasizing, however, that "it is important to consume coffee in moderation". "Excessive consumption can cause negative side effects", she warns.
