What you eat before bed can affect your sleep. Did you know that? With this in mind, Taylor Grasso, a registered dietitian, is quoted in BestLife as advising that you combine "a complex carbohydrate with a protein to help keep your body steady as you rest."

Need a suggestion? A bowl of Greek yogurt mixed with some fruit toppings. Why? "Greek yogurt is packed with protein, and it also has calcium," she explains.

According to the expert, "the protein will help stabilize your blood sugar levels overnight, leading to better-quality sleep."

"Not to mention, if you top it with something like cherries, you're getting a boost of natural melatonin," she adds.
