Are you over 40 and haven't exercised regularly in a while? It's time to turn that around and start working out. A personal trainer reveals the best workout you can do throughout the week.

Tyler Read told 'Eat This, Not That' that there are three simple exercises that will make a difference to your cardiovascular health. 

"It's crucial for maintaining heart health and reducing your risk of cardiovascular disease, which becomes more prevalent as we age," the personal trainer explained. He suggests starting with a brisk walk.

Start with a moderate pace for five minutes. Then pick up the pace a bit and maintain that pace for 30 minutes.

Next, the exercise bike is also a great option. Start with an easy pace and then increase the speed gradually over 20 to 30 minutes. Finally, swimming is also great for your heart. Alternate between different strokes for 20 to 30 minutes without stopping.

Ideally, you should do these three exercises throughout the week to see results.
