Hate the harsh smell of chemical cleaners? Luckily, there are several natural and affordable solutions you can make right at home. Jennifer Jones, a cleaning and organization expert featured in The Pioneer Woman, recommends a three-ingredient solution that you can use on almost every surface in your home. Sound good?
Here’s what you’ll need: one part white vinegar; one part water; and the peels of one citrus fruit, such as a lemon. Combine the ingredients in a glass spray bottle and shake thoroughly to combine.
Let it sit for a few days before using. You can then use it to tackle all sorts of messes. She notes that you should avoid using acidic ingredients on porous surfaces like granite and unsealed wood, as it can damage the finish.
