A tea or an infusion can be good solutions for when you have some digestive discomfort or for the relief of nasal congestion. However, this can also be an effective drink to reduce inflammation.

Dietician Roxana Ehsani signs an article on the 'website' EatingWell in which she states that one of the best ways to reduce inflammation is to drink a ginger infusion.

"Although ginger is known to calm nausea, in infusion it also offers a surprising variety of benefits. It contains bioactive compounds that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties," reveals the dietician.

"Ginger can be as effective as taking ibuprofen when it comes to natural pain relief," she continues.

To make this infusion, you can boil a piece of ginger in water for 15 minutes. You can add a little lemon if you like. You can always opt for a purchased infusion.

"The great advantage of this infusion is that you can drink it at any time of day, as it does not contain caffeine," she concludes.
