This healthy tuna pie recipe is as simple as it is amazing. It is a suggestion from nutritionist Cristina Cunha, from the clinical nutrition team of the Hospital da Luz network.

Ingredients:
2 eggs
3 egg whites
2 tablespoons of cottage cheese
2 tablespoons of oatmeal bran
2 cans of tuna in olive oil or in water
1 tablespoon of baking powder
2 tomatoes
½ onion
1 carrot
Salicornia q.s.
Herbs q.s.
Preparation:
1- Add the eggs, egg whites, cottage cheese and oatmeal bran.
2- Beat everything in a blender and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
3- Then add the tuna, the baking powder, the chopped tomato and onion, the grated carrot and salicornia and herbs to taste.
4- Place this mixture in a previously greased baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 35 minutes.
