The end of cancer treatments marks a moment in a patient's life. Either because it signals the end of the disease, but also the beginning of a new phase of recovery, especially mental and psychological.
Thus, it is not surprising that it is a moment lived with great emotion, and that each person has a different way of wanting to celebrate it.
In Spain, a cancer patient decided to announce to everyone that he was on his way to the hospital for his last day of chemotherapy treatment, by placing posters on the window of his car.
The moment was filmed by another driver, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, who confessed to being moved by the information.
Elisa Alemán and her son were driving along the GC-1 road when they realized that the van was heading to the Hospital Universitario Insular and decided to film the patient's announcement.
"On the way to work, I saw this. I don't know who it is, but I swear it moved me. It certainly wasn't easy. A lot of strength and keep going", she wrote next to the video that you can see above.
