"According to information received from the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland, the protest of Polish farmers in front of the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint, which had been going on since February 9, has ended," the Ukrainian Border Service said in a statement.

As a result, border guards of both countries have already started registering the passage of cargo vehicles in both directions.

However, there are still two other checkpoints on the border between the two countries where carriers are blocking the passage of trucks with goods.

For months, Polish carriers have been staging protests at border crossings with Ukraine, protesting against the benefits of their Ukrainian colleagues and the goods they export.

Shortly afterwards, Ukrainian truck drivers took the same measure to demand the maintenance of duty-free exemptions for their products in the EU.

The situation reached a point where the Ukrainian and Polish authorities have been in contact in recent weeks to resolve the issue.

Warsaw appealed to truck drivers to lift the blockades, but Kiev considered that not everything had been done to end the situation.
